Jacqui Larsson, award-winning diamond specialist and gemmologist, contacted us in January 2020 asking for more prominence on search engines to strengthen their e-commerce portal and to establish the brand.

Jacqui has been producing bespoke jewellery since 2006 and her online boutique has extensive curated collections of beautifully crafted jewellery.

We wanted Jacqui to give the best information to her customers, so we have optimised all products, articles and pages of the website, changed the meta description of various products, increased the word count of various articles and of course permanently removed unpublished products and ensured there are no broken links.  A full list of the SEO activities we carried out is below.

Since instructing PinkSEO, the total users of www.jacquilarsson.com improved from 416 in January 2020 to 1320 in January 2021 – that’s a massive 217,3% increase.

Jacqui has said that PinkSEO has been incredibly supportive and proactive in suggesting a range of elements that raised her business profile and brand awareness. View full information of what we have achieved and her testimonial video below.

Keywords Comparison

Keywords are ideas and topics that define what your content is about. In terms of SEO, they’re the words and phrases that searchers enter into search engines, also called “search queries.” As a website owner and content creator, you want the keywords on your page to be relevant to what people are searching for so they have a better chance of finding your content among the results.

This chart shows the keywords comparison for Jacqui Larsson between January 2020 and January 2021, showing the trend increased from the first month and it has never stopped improving:

Keyword rankings refer to a web page’s position within search results for a particular keyword search query. When a user searches for the particular keyword, the ranking URL would be the web page that is listed for that keyword search. One web page can rank for several relevant search keywords and phrases.

In January 2020 the ranked keywords for Jacqui Larsson were a total of 66, with 1 keyword in the top 3, 2 keywords in the top 10-14, 4 keywords in the top 20, 16 in the top 50 and 43 in the top 100:

By January 2021, following the work of PinkSEO, ranked keywords increased throughout, the total increasing by an outstanding 225 to 291:

Panoramic of Acquisition (Visitors) from all sources

The ‘Organic Search’ is visitors who are considered organic by finding a website after using a search engine like Google or Bing, not being “referred” by any other website. ‘Organic Search’ had the most impact for Jacqui Larsson; the most new users and sessions with an improvement of 720%.

Organic Search improvement is conditioned by the SEO work carried out by PinkSEO in the website, with keywords research, SEO optimisation of articles and products, optimisation of images and adding content on pages with less than 300 words.

SEO activities optimised by PinkSEO

In these months, our work on Jacqui Larsson’s Fine Jewellery’s website has been holistic SEO, which means we took care of every aspect of the on-page optimisation.

Particularly, our work has consisted of (but was not limited to):

  • Researching keywords and optimising all the products, articles and pages of the website
  • Unpublishing the articles with thin content and making a new content strategy for some of them
  • Adding new content in some pages
  • Creating new pages on the site and changing the aspect of some of them
  • Regularly monitoring the website through technical audits and fixing any error and issue that was identified from a coding perspective
  • Adding new functionalities to some pages to improve the User Experience.

Client feedback

Jacqui says:

Commending a SEO campaign with PinkSEO.Marketing prior to the restrictions imposed in 2020 meant that the business was well positioned to continue trading online.
Unexpectedly, the results were stronger in 2020 than 2019, and the increase in new leads has been notable.
We even had the unusual situation of having repeat business from a new client within a month of first purchase.
We have a great product, but the increased interest is entirely attributable to Silvia’s team drawing more traffic to the website.

I have been working with them for an year, and they are a pleasure to work with. Silvia has been incredibly supportive and proactive in suggesting a range of elements which raised my business profile and brand awareness. Often simple things that cost nothing, but help drive traffic to my website.

She has a holistic approach to her support, and I have found her advice invaluable. She has given me tutorials in platforms such as YouTube, which were very important to ensuring that I maximised the possible traffic that they can generate. I receive monthly reports which track the progress of her work.

I particularly appreciate that she explains technical concepts in layman’s terms.

She is also the loveliest person, which is an essential quality I value in all the people I work with.
