As we start to reopen after lockdown and being acutely aware of how businesses have been so strongly affected by the economic situation, we are opening the doors to a brand new SEO Training Course.
PinkSEO Academy is aimed to help business owners who need SEO support but currently cannot (or don’t want to) outsource the work.
The SEO Club will teach business owners how to do their own DIY SEO through interactive classes and work to be done independently.
Priority for access will be given to those industries that have been most affected by the pandemic: hospitality, travel, events, wedding-related businesses etc.
𝙃𝙤𝙬 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙘𝙡𝙪𝙗 𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙠 Each cohort will be hosted on a private Facebook Group with a monthly duration. The group will be capped at 20 members because the course is designed to be extremely interactive. The main events will be 4 x weekly one-hour live interactive workshops held live on the Facebook group. The replays will be available at any time and their recording can be downloaded and saved for future reference. Following each session, members will be given homework and support will be given in the group throughout the month. Before the first lesson, we will run a full, initial analysis of each website and the full Site Audit report (value £ 99) will be sent to you so you will be aware of the level of optimisation your site needs. Support will be granted in the group throughout the month and we will encourage discussions and interaction among the members for group learning and networking purposes.
Detail of the sessions:
First lesson, Tuesday 6th of April at 10 am
In the first session, you’ll discover the 3 main components of Google:
And the 3 main components of a solid SEO approach:
Every aspect will be explained in a very practical and non-technical way, looking at what you can “do” with what you learn. At the end of the first session, you will be left with a brainstorming exercise that can be taken more or less in-depth according to your own preference, which we will discuss during the second session.
Second Session, Tuesday 13th of April at 10 am
The second workshop will be about “keywords”, what they are, what long- and short-tail mean, what do we consider as “search intent”, the 3 types of queries
and how we can use all of them to get more traffic. Once again, at the end of the second session, you’ll be left with a keyword research exercise that can be fundamental for your content optimisation.
Third Session, Tuesday 20th of April at 10 am
The third session will teach you why and how we create a simple “keyword-to-content map” and an introduction to content creation practices (how often should we create content, best practices, some quick-wins). You’ll have a choice here on whether to work on mapping your existing content or starting a content bank/plan (or both).
Fourth Session, Tuesday 27th of April at 10 am
The final session will be on content optimisation. It will involve – what are metadata, how do we use each of them in the most SEO-friendly way (how to use keywords in)
- images optimisation
- meta descriptions
- and more
